Hiddenworth Millcreek Estate Sale!
Greetings Everyone!
We have a fantastic Autumn estate sale leading off the month of November in Millcreek, and the coziness of the home and the way it was lovingly furnished is off the charts. Everything had a place and when not in use, carefully packed away. You will not find one piece of particleboard, basic grey and white Ikea furniture in this house.
What you will find, are well maintained pieces that were thoughtfully curated over time mixed in with a charming mix of decor and collectibles with an eye for the classic traditional look. The owner spent her life’s work caring for others in the nursing profession, graduating from St. Vincent nursing school while taking great pride in making a nice home for her family.
The goal over the two day sale(possibly three) is to re-home the offerings at a fair price so you can become the next caretakers..in a nutshell, it’s one of the most unique ways to shop in America while doing so in a sustainable way. This is truly Home Goods at its core. Interior trends/fads come and go, but the classic traditional look whether in one room of a house or entire house will always have a place. I’ve been in plenty of homes over the years and this one just has a special feel about it.
I truly feel you will enjoy this one and I don’t say that lightly. You’ll want to make it a point to stop in if you like a good classic American estate sale. Take a look at the gallery of photos for a sampling of a few offerings that need re-homed..of course you can find the other Hiddenworth on your own as you peruse the home. There will be jazz playing during the sale as it appears based on the vinyl collection in the house, the owner had a great interest in classical and jazz..Sinatra etc.
Fair warning, bring a pair of slippers, socks or booties. If the weather is garbage (because anything can happen in November) we will ask you to remove your shoes.
